Hi, I’m Melanie — Advisor, Trainer, and Sales Strategist.

I began my career in new-construction sales drawn to the energy of growing communities and the meaningful impact a home has on someone’s life. Starting at the front lines - running out signs and balloons, taking registrations, tours, contracts, and everything in between - I had the privilege of learning this industry from the ground up.

Over the years, I grew into senior sales and leadership roles, helping guide teams, shape sales strategies, and support major launches across the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland. I’ve been part of selling more than 40 projects, developing frameworks and processes that strengthened conversions, improved communication, and elevated the overall buyer experience.

Through that journey, I noticed a recurring theme: developers and marketing teams often needed strategic sales leadership, alignment, and training—without the overhead of a full-time Director of Sales. They needed someone who understood the reality on the ground, respected the buyer journey, and could bring clarity, confidence, and structure to the entire sales program.

That’s why I launched Themmen Advisory. To offer fractional sales leadership, hands-on team development, and strategic process optimization that supports projects from pre-launch through completion.

And it’s also what inspired me to create Cultivate Mindset. After years of building educational content behind the scenes, I finally wanted to bring it forward—to make practical, modern training available publicly for salespeople and Realtors who want to improve their skillset and elevate their career.

Today, I bring together advisory leadership and education to support developers, strengthen team strategy and communication, and help professionals build meaningful, lasting careers in this industry.

  • I have worked within a sales capacity from the sales floor (in all roles! yes, even a hostess before I got my real estate license!) to a directorial role overseeing multiple projects in an industry leading marketing and sales company.

  • I have either directly sold or supported the sales teams of almost $1.5 Billion dollars of real estate from condos, townhomes, and single family across the Lower Mainland, Okanagan, and Vancouver Island.

  • I have worked on over 40 projects from across the Lower Mainland, Okanagan, and Vancouver Island. These range from master-planned communities, multi-building communities, mixed product communities and multi-phase communities.

  • From the Lower Mainland, heavily focused in the Fraser Valley, as well as the Okanagan Kelowna region, Victoria and adjacent cities on Vancouver Island.
